Bus Tours The Delaware Agricultural Museum and Village has so much to offer the weary traveler. Walk through the enormous exhibit hall and eye the interesting artifacts - from an 18th century log cabin to a 1941 crop duster. View the special exhibits and learn about Delaware's rural beginnings. Then, really stretch those legs and walk through the 1890s village behind the main building. Tour the general store and pick out your favorite patented remedy for those sore backsides! Take your mind back to a simpler time when the 3 R's were the extent of one's schooling. Remember to thank technology for giving us those modern conveniences like electric stoves, lightbulbs and indoor plumbing as you marvel at the simplicity of the farmhouse. All of these buildings plus the country church, train station, blacksmith shop and mill will give you to a new understanding of our heritage. On the way back to the bus, stop by the Village Emporium and take a piece of rural Delaware home with you. We offer guided tours of the entire museum and Exhibit tours of one to one and one-half hours long with a reservation. Or you may explore the museum on your own.
