We’re excited to welcome you to one of Delaware’s hidden gems — where history, farming, and community come to life.

  • Tuesday – Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Sunday: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Closed: Mondays & Major Holidays

Note: Our historic village is an outdoor space and may close during inclement weather. A closure alert will appear at the top of the website if conditions require.

  • Children (3–12): $4.00

  • Members: Always Free

🚗 Parking

Free on-site parking is available for cars, buses, and vans. Handicap-accessible spots are located near the front entrance.

♿ Accessibility

The museum building is fully wheelchair-accessible. Paths through the historic village are gravel or grass; wheelchairs and strollers are welcome but may experience some uneven terrain.

🛍️ Gift Shop & Restrooms

Stop by our gift shop for local crafts, toys, and educational gifts. Restrooms are available inside the main museum and near the village gate.

🗓️ Suggested Itinerary

  • 10:00 AM – Begin with self-guided museum exhibits
  • 11:00 AM – Walk through the historic village
  • 12:00 PM – Lunch on the picnic lawn (bring your own or check our calendar for food truck days)
  • 1:00 PM – Participate in a scheduled tour or activity (when available)
  • 2:30 PM – Shop the gift shop & wrap up your visit
